Granny squares

I love granny squares.

I got this book from my boyfriend, I think for Women's Day (8th of March) a year ago. First thing I made from it - of course - granny squares! They ended up in a couple of projects: a bag, an unfinished blanket (oh, well) and some of them ended up as coasters at my friends house.

This was suppose to be a blanket. Damn my patience.

I finally made a blanket though. It took ages, but it was with me through most of our time in UK. No idea what I did with it at the end. Did I give to to anybody? Did I pack it? Threw it out? Anybody?

And there it is, in a middle of hovering :P

This is one of my favorite shawls I have - it's so warm and cosy!

This pillow unfortunately ended up in a bin, as it was to scruffy :(

And I was trying to make square a day challenge. It lasted two days.

Here is my stash of granny squares. was trying to put it together as a blanket, but had to pack it up before I had a chance to start.

This one I actually use, one of my favorite bags I made. Unfortunately I didn't know at the time that wool stretches REALLY badly. Need something else as a handle material in the future (wooden handles are too expensive).

and last but not least: my granny squares infinity scarves - I wear them all the time. I actually have some more, need to get better pictures though :)
