It's been a while... I have been on a great holidays, then I got caught up at work and I was coming back home so tired, that I couldn't even think straight. But now everything calmed down again and I have a little bit of extra time to finally show you what I have been doing for all this time.
Actually, no. I will show you today, what I did before, when I lived in Aberdeen. I will show you new stuff soon though, as it is all connected.
Just before I left Aberdeen I found on Pinterest ( <3 ) a very simple way to make the cutest hearts ever. By the time I was leaving Scotland I made around 50. They look really good ( if they not, it just means I am a lousy photographer) so I decided to make some more, as last month I ordered a bunch (2 kg!) of red wool. As those hearts are a perfect home decoration, I thought they will be perfect for a Christmas tree too, so I am gonna make some red & green, or red & sparkly. Yes, I know it's only the end of July, but I just started about preparing for Christmas and I can't help it. Maybe it's the heat. 35 degrees every day for the last couple of weeks is not cool. Not cool at all.
Cute, huh? I'm gonna make some more in red and I will try to make a bit better photos.
Apart from hearts, I've been making tons of other things, I had my first real market stall at the tournament here and I was thrilled to realise how kids loved my bracelets (will show them in next post) and adults actually liked my mobile pouches.
I must say - I was really scared, that I am gonna stay there and be all laughed at, but nothing like this ever happened. Amazing. I am starting to believe that my stuff actually looks good and people like it. A little bit more and I will be brave enough to open and promote a shop on Etsy ;)
